Meet Our Staff
|
Timothy W. Behrens, M.D. is the Principal Investigator on this project and is a Professor of
Medicine and a Rheumatologist at the University of Minnesota. He is responsible for the overall
direction and management of the study.

Patrick Gaffney, M.D. is the Co-Investigator on this project and a Physician-Scientist in the Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota. He is directing much of the day-to-day genetic marker screening and analysis.

Jill Novitzke, R.N. is the Clinical Coordinator for several studies here. She oversees all enrollment of participants, reviews medical records, and is ultimately responsible for the side of the study that involves participants and clinical information.

Laurie Kyle is the Study Coordinator for the lupus study. She enrolls all participants and families in the study, completes patient interviews, and generally assists with the entire participation process, from consent paperwork to sample collection.

|
Lab Staff These are the folks who work every day on this project, devoting their daily energy to the laboratory side of finding the cause of lupus.
